Zoom live class
Get the feature of online live classes with the Zoom streaming service in Academy LMS. The course instructors can make real-time classes with their students through these live class addon.
To enhance this feature, you have to install the addon on your application. Now, you have to follow the easy steps to install the addon below:
- Before installing the process, we highly recommend you check your application version. To check your application version, you have to navigate to the "About" section from the "Settings" button.
- If you are running the mentioned version, then you are ready to install this addon.
- Download the addon you want to install on your application from Codecanyon.
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- You will get two folders inside the file. One for documentation and the other for the addon folder.
- Do not try to remove or rename any folder.
- Go back to the application and log in as an admin.
- Select the "Addon" option from the left menu.
- Click on the "Install addon."
- Provide the purchase code.
- Upload the zip file from your device.
- Click on the "Install addon" button.
- You will get a success message notification.
Course instructor:
The course instructors can take classes through Zoom after completing the installation process. To take online classes, the course instructors can follow the steps below.
- Log in as a course instructor.
- Select the "Course" option from the left menu.
- Choose the "Manage course" option from the sub-menu.
- Select "Edit this course" from the "Action" panel.
- Select the "Zoom live class" option.
- Add meeting time and date.
- Add meeting invite link.
- Click the "Submit" button from the "Finish" option.
- Click on the "Start meeting" button to start the meeting initially.
NB: The course instructors can use take classes through the web application or browser.
How to get the invite link:
The course instructor has to provide the meeting invitation link in the application. For this, they can follow the steps.
- Log in to the official site of Zoom/Choose a plan by click on on the "Zoom meeting plans" option.
- Go to the "Meeting" option after login.
- Select the "Personal Room" option.
- Copy the invite link.
- Click on the "Upcoming" button if you want to schedule your meeting.
- Select the "Schedule a meeting" button.
NB: We highly recommend that the course instructors will log in to their own accounts for hosting the meeting.
Student panel:
Your students can join their class from their panel. For this, they can follow the steps below:
- Log in as a student.
- Go to the "My course" page.
- Select the required course.
- Click on the "Start now" button.
- Select the "Live Class" option from the bottom of the course playing page.
- Click on the "Join live video class" button.
NB: The students can use take classes through the web application or browser.
