# Manage Category

With Elevate, managing categories is effortless. Admins can create, edit, and organize product categories for smooth navigation. Customers easily find what they need, boosting satisfaction and driving more sales through a well-structured shopping experience.

 

  • Log in to the Admin panel and open the Dashboard.

  • Navigate to Category from the left menu.

  • Finally, click the Categories, and a new window will appear.

  • Click the Add New Category button, and an entry form will appear.

  • Fill in the following details:

    • Category Name: Type the category name in the respective field.

    • Description: Enter your decided description in the relevant field.

    • Icon: Click the Choose file button to upload the Icon.

    • Thumbnail: Click the Choose file button to upload the thumbnail.

    • Banner: Click the Choose file button to upload the banner.

    • Select Parent Category: Select the parent category from the dropdown menu.

    • Select attribute types: Click the radio button to select the colour and size.

  • Once all the fields are completed, click the Submit button to save the information.

  • If you click the Back button, you automatically go to the previous page.

 

 

 

How to Edit Category

  • Log in to the Admin panel and open the Dashboard.

  • Navigate to Category from the left menu.

  • Finally, click the Categories, and a new window will appear.

  • When your couser move to the product name, the Edit and Delete buttons will pop up.

  • Click the Edit button, and an entry form will appear.

  • Fill in the following details:

    • Category Name: Type the category name in the respective field.

    • Description: Enter your decided description in the relevant field.

    • Icon: Click the Choose file button to upload the Icon.

    • Thumbnail: Click the Choose file button to upload the thumbnail.

    • Banner: Click the Choose file button to upload the banner.

    • Select Parent Category: Select the parent category from the dropdown menu.

    • Select attribute types: Click the radio button to select the colour and size.

  • Once all the fields are completed, click the Submit button to save the information.

  • If you click the Back button, you automatically go to the previous page.

  • If you click the Delete button, a confirmation window will appear.

  • By clicking Confirm, the item will be deleted permanently; otherwise, click Cancel.

 

 

 

How to Add a New Attribute

 

  • Log in to the Admin panel and open the Dashboard.

  • Navigate to Category from the left menu.

  • Finally, click the Attributes, and a new window will appear.

  • Click the Add New Attribute Type button, and an entry form will appear.

  • Fill in the following details:

    • Attribute Type: Enter the attribute type in the respective field.

    • Input Type: Select input type from the dropdown menu.

  • Once all the fields are completed, click the Add button to save the information.

  • If you click the Back button, you automatically go to the previous page.

 

 

How to Edit Attribute

 

  • Log in to the Admin panel and open the Dashboard.

  • Navigate to Category from the left menu.

  • Finally, click the Attributes, and a new window will appear.

  • When you click the Edit button (Like Pen symbols) from the available options, the respective entry form will appear.

  • Fill in the following details:

    • Attribute Type: Enter the attribute type in the respective field.

    • Input Type: Select input type from the dropdown menu.

  • Once all the fields are completed, click the Update button to save the information.

  • If you click the Delete button, a confirmation window will appear.

  • By clicking Confirm, the item will be deleted permanently; otherwise, click Cancel.
