A video watermark is essential for any online course-based LMS, serving to protect content and reinforce brand identity. It involves placing a logo on videos to prevent unauthorized use and ensure that your content is always associated with your brand. In Academy LMS Laravel, video watermarks are seamlessly integrated to enhance both content security and branding.
To configure video watermark, you have to follow the steps below:
Log in to the application as an admin.
Select the "Settings" option from the left menu.
Click on the "Player settings" option from the sub-menu.

Next, Click on the field for Watermark and enter your watermark logo.
Next, Click on the field Watermark Type and Select Js Watermark or FFMpeg.
JS Watermark: The JS watermark is visible during video playback and changes its position dynamically. It overlays the video while playing but does not persist after the video is downloaded.
FFMpeg Watermark: The FFmpeg watermark is static and does not change its position during playback. It remains visible as an overlay during the video and persists even after the video is downloaded, ensuring better security for your videos.
Customize the position, size, and transparency of the watermark to fit your needs.
To apply the watermark to your videos click "Save Changes" button.
Your videos will now display the watermark as configured.
