Sociopro Timeline

Post Management

 

The timeline in Sociopro is a continuously updated list of posts and stories. Upon logging in, users can view their timeline, which includes: Uploaded pictures, shared locations, videos, events, blogs, advertisements.

These are from friends, groups, or pages they follow. Users can also upload and manage their own text, image, and video posts directly from the timeline.



Creating a post (text)

To create a text post, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Login to Sociopro.

  2. Go to your timeline page.

  3. Click on the What’s on your mind field on top of your timeline.

  4. Then, write down what you want to share.

  5. Choose the privacy of the post (Users can make their posts public or only friends)

  6. Click on the "Post" button.





Creating a post (images or videos)

 

To create a text post, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Login to Sociopro.

  2. Go to your timeline page.

  3. Click on the What’s on your mind field on top of your timeline.

  4. Then, click on the Photo/Video option.

  1. Then. select the image/video from your device files and upload them.

  2. Click on Post.

 

Sharing Location

 

Users can also share their location on Sociopro. Other users can react or these kinds of posts if they want. To share the location users can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Log in to Sociopro. 

  2. Go to your timeline page.

  3. Click on the What’s on your mind field on top of your timeline.

  4. Click on the Check In button. (Make sure to give Sociopro access to your location by clicking on Allow only while using the app)

  1. Choose your location from the map and click on Save.

  2. Click on the Post button.

Post Sharing

 

Users can share posts from other users they follow in their own timelines. Shared posts are automatically saved to their profiles, and post settings can be adjusted via the Post option.

 

To share a post from the timeline, users can follow these steps:

 

  1. Login to Sociopro mobile app.

  2. Go to the Timeline page.

  3. Scroll and select a post that you want to share.

  1. Click on the "Share" button on the right bottom of the selected post.

  2. Select the audience.

  3. Choose the privacy of the post (Users can make their posts public or only friends)

  4. Add any description (If the users want to write down something about the post)

  5. Click on the "Share" button.

 

Tagging People

 

Users can add their friends, or pages to a post by tagging them. When a user tags other users in videos, photos, or posts it will add to the tagged user's profile.

 

To tag other users from their timelines, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Login to Sociopro Mobile App.

  2. Go to the timeline page.

  3. Click on the What’s on your mind field on top of your timeline.

  4. Click on the Tag People button.

  1. Select users that you want to tag. (User can choose multiple users to tag in a post)

  2. Click on the "Done" button.

  3. Click on the "Post" option.

 

Live Video

 

Users can share real-time experiences, news, or events with their friends or other users through live videos on Sociopro. When users end their live video, it automatically saves to their profile.

 

To start live videos on Sociopro, users can follow these steps:

  1. Login to Sociopro Mobile App.

  2. Go to the Timeline page.

  3. Click on the What’s on your mind field on top of your timeline.

  4. Click on the Live Video button.

  5. The user's live streaming service will start soon after clicking on the "Post" button. Users can also read other users' comments and reply/make comments on their live videos in real-time. 




How To React and Comment on the post

 

On Sociopro, users can interact with posts from friends, pages, or groups they follow or have joined by commenting and adding reactions. Users can leave comments and express their feelings using various emojis such as like, love, haha, cry and angry. Only one type of emoji/reaction can be used per post or comment at a time.

 

Comment

 

To comment on a post, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Login to Sociopro Mobile App.

  2. Go to the Timeline page.

  3. Select a post.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the selected post.

  5. Click on Comment.

  1. Write down a comment in the comment box.

  1. Users can also reply to a comment by clicking on the Reply button.

  1. Users can also hide or report comments from the comment box in Sociopro. For this, they can follow the steps:

    1. Select a comment.

    2. Click on the (•••) icon on the right side of the comment.

    3. If the user wants to hide the comment from other users, they can click on the "Delete Comment" button.



React to a post

 

Users can express their feelings in a post using various emojis, such as like, love, haha, cry and angry. Note that only one emoji/reaction can be used per post at a time. Users can also react with emojis in the comment box.

 

To add an emoji to a post, follow these steps:

 

  1. Login to Sociopro Mobile App.

  2. Go to the Timeline page.

  3. Select a post.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the selected post.

  1. Hover on top of the Like button.

  2. Choose and select an emoji based on the reaction.

  3. The reactions will be added.

  4. You can also add reactions to a comment by hovering over the Like button.
