In Sociopro, a group serves as a platform for discussions among people with common interests, allowing them to share opinions, ideas, thoughts, and questions. Groups enable users to connect based on shared objects, interests, or activities. Users can join existing groups or invite friends to join groups they find relevant.
One user can create multiple groups in Sociopro. To create groups, follow the steps below:
Login to sociopro
Click on the button shown, and then click on Groups.
Click on the + Create Group button on top.
Click on the field for Group name and provide the name of the group.
Click on Subtitle and enter the subtitle for the group.
Click on About and write an about section for the group.
Set the privacy of the group (either public or private).
Choose the status of the group (active or inactive).
Add a logo for the group by uploading a picture from your device.
Click on Create Group.
The group will be created.
Sociopro allows users to send group invitations, enabling them to invite their friends to join groups. Similarly, other users can send invitations to a user to join their groups. This feature fosters community building and encourages engagement within the platform.
To send group invitations, users can follow the steps below:
Login to the Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group (Users have to select a group that they want to send an invitation to)
Click on the Invite button.
Then, from the list of friends, select the users you want to invite and click on Invite beside their name.
After you click invite, it will show that those selected users are invited.
Users can also join a group through their friend's invitation. To join a group from the invitations, users can follow the steps below:
Log in to the Sociopro mobile application.
Go to the "Group" option from the left menu.
Select a group (Users have to select a group that they want to send an invitation to).
Select a group from the invitation list.
Click on the "Join" button.

To publish a text post in the group discussion, follow the steps below:
Login to the Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Click on the Post box, and write down what you want to share.
Choose the privacy of the post (Users can make their posts public, friends, or only me)
Click on the "Post" button.

Choose the privacy of the post (Users can make their posts public, friends, or only me)
Click on the "Post" button.
To share posts of other users in the group, follow the steps below:
Log in to the Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Then, choose a post from the selected group and click on Share.
You can then share a post with the nearby devices available.
Log in to the Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Then, choose a post from the selected group and click on the (•••) icon on the right side of the post.
Select the copy link button to copy the link to the post.
You can also report the post if it’s inappropriate, by clicking on Report.
In Sociopro, users can comment on posts within the groups they have joined. They can also add various reactions to posts and comments, including happy, sad, wow, and angry emojis. Additionally, users can reply to other users' comments in the groups to continue and enhance the discussion.
To comment on a post from the group, follow the steps below:
Log in to Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Choose a post that you want to comment on, and click on Comment.
Write down a comment in the comment box and click on the enter button to send the comment.
Users can view the members of a group. If the group is public, everyone in the application can see the group members. However, if the group is private, only the group's members can view the list of members.
To manage the group members, the group admin can follow these steps:
Log in to Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Choose the People option.
Then you can see all the members who are in the group.
Only the group admin can create and manage the group album. If the group is public, other users can see the group albums and photos. However, if the group is private, only the group members can see the group albums and photos.
Only the group admin can create the group album in Sociopro. To add uploaded group photos to the albums, the group admin must first create an album. To do this, the group admin can follow the steps below:
Log in to Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Click on Media, and then click on Albums.
Click on Create Album to create a new album.
Choose the privacy of the post
Add album title, sub-title, and thumbnail.
Click on the "Create Album" button to save the album.
To view an album, users can follow the steps below:
Log in to Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Click on Media, and then click on Albums.
Choose an album from the list.
You can view all the photos that have been uploaded to the album by clicking on photos individually.
Only the group admin can remove a group album from the application. To remove an album from the group, the group admin can follow the steps below:
Log in to Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Click on Media, and then click on Albums.
Click on the Delete button to delete the album.
A confirmation window will pop up, click yes if you wish to delete, otherwise click cancel.
The group admin can also add their group images from their devices to the albums. For this, they can follow the steps below:
Log in to Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Click on Media, and then click on Albums.
Choose an album by clicking on the Select album field.
Upload pictures from your device.
Click on Add photo.
The photo will be added to the album.
Log in to Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Click on Media, and then click on Albums.
Click on the "Photo" option.
Choose an image.
Click on the delete icon.
Select the "Yes" button for confirmation.
Group members can start live videos in a group on Sociopro. Only group members can see the live video if any group member starts it. Users can share their experiences, news, or events in real-time with their group members through the live video feature.
To start live videos, users can navigate the steps below:
Log in to Sociopro mobile app.
Click on the button shown, and click on Groups.
Select a group from the list.
Click on the Post box, and click on Live Video.
Choose the privacy of the post (Users can make their posts public, friends, or only me)
Click on the "Post" button.
The user's live streaming service will start shortly after clicking the "Go Live" button. Once the live video begins, other users can comment and react to the video in real-time. The user hosting the live video can also reply to comments during the live stream, fostering interactive and engaging sessions with the audience.
