How to Manage Courses
A managed course in a GrowUp LMS refers to a course in which the platform or admin oversees all aspects, including content creation, progress tracking, and assessments. Instructors follow structured guidelines, and learners benefit from organized materials, ensuring effective learning and easy progress monitoring.
- Click the Options button to manage Courses.
- When you click the Options button with three dots, a menu with the following options pops up: View Course on Frontend, Go to Course playing page, Edit Course, Duplicate Course, Make As Inactive, and Delete Course.
How to View Course on Frontend
- Log in to the Instructor Panel.
- Click the Dashboard from the login menu.
- In the left menu, go to Course Management.
- Then, select Recorded Course.
- Finally, Choose All Courses.
- Click the three dots from the Options and a menu will pop up.
- If you click View Course on Frontend the Options window will pop up.
- Click the login menu a new window will pop up My Courses.
- Choose My Courses you will find your course list.
- You can start the course by clicking Continue Courses.
- Return to the previous page by clicking My Courses.
How to Go to Course Playing Page
- Log in to the Instructor Panel.
- Click the Dashboard from the login menu.
- In the left menu, go to Course Management.
- Then, select Recorded Course.
- Finally, Choose All Courses.
- Click the three dots from the Options and a menu will pop up.
- If you click Go to Course Playing Page the Options window will pop up.
- Return to the Manage Courses page, and click the Manage Courses button.
How to Edit Course
- Log in to the Instructor Panel.
- Click the Dashboard from the login menu.
- In the left menu, go to Course Management.
- Then, select Recorded Course.
- Finally, Choose All Courses.
- Click the three dots from the Options or click on the Course Title, and a menu will pop up.
- Select Edit Course to open the editing window.
- Update the course details as follows:

- Enter the Course Title in the Title field.
- Provide a Short Description in the Short Description field.
- Add the full Course Description in the Description field.
- Choose a Category from the dropdown menu.
- Select the appropriate Course Level from its dropdown menu.
- Pick the Course Language from the dropdown list.
- Set the course status by selecting the relevant Radio Button: Active, Private, Upcoming, Pending, Draft, or Inactive.
- Once you complete all click Save Changes to update and save the course information.
- Return to the previous page and click the Back button.
How to Create Duplicate Courses
- Log in to the Instructor Panel.
- Click the Dashboard from the login menu.
- In the left menu, go to Course Management.
- Then, select Recorded Course.
- Finally, Choose All Courses.
- Click the three dots from the Options and a menu will pop up.
- Select Duplicate Course a confirmation window will pop up.
- Once you click Confirm a window will pop up to create a duplicate.
- Click the Add New Section an entry form will pop up.
- Type the Title Name in the "Title" section.
- Click the "Submit" button to save the information.
- Click the "Save Changes" button after completing tasks.
- Return to the previous page and click the Back button.
How to Delete Courses
- Log in to the Instructor Panel.
- Click the Dashboard from the login menu.
- In the left menu, go to Course Management.
- Then, select Recorded Course.
- Finally, Choose All Courses.
- Click the three dots from the Options and a menu will pop up.
- Select Delete Course a confirmation window will pop up.
- Once you click Confirm the course will be deleted permanently and never back again.
